Well the past weekend was a little crazy. Friday we had Rocky Anderson’s memorial service which was really nice. It was great to hear all the wonderful memories everyone has of Rocky and he will defiantly be missed. After the memorial service we went to Apollo Burger for dinner with Jace’s brothers and cousin and their families. The rest of the night we just hung out at the house relaxing.
Jace and I at Rocky's memorial service.
Then Saturday morning Jace got up and started checking everything on the boat before we took it out that afternoon while I cleaned up the house, finished up laundry and ran to the store. We ended up getting on the lake later that afternoon with Jace’s younger brother Jedd and his wife. We just hung out driving around (wanted to make sure the boat still worked this year J) After the lake we came home and cleaned up then went to see Battleship. I must admit I didn’t really want to see it but it was much better than I expected. Maybe my expectations were so low that it made it seem really good but I ended up liking it. After our movie we headed over to our friend’s Jeremy and Heidi’s house. Heidi graduated from college (I’m very jealous-only 2 more years and I will be there!) so they rented a mechanical bull to celebrate. It was hilarious to watch everyone attempt the bull. It was defiantly entertaining so thanks Jeremy and Heidi for the fun night.
First time out on the lake this year!
Jace and I on the bull haha-since they were phone pictures alot of them are fuzzy!
Jake and Marci's turn
and of course Jedd and Bonnie
Sunday we had church and then relaxed most the day. (May I also add that we had 3 kids move into our class so we now have 13 kids in our class...it might be getting a little crazy somedays in there). Later that night we went on the Farmington Trail behind Lagoon with Jace’s family and had a picnic. (Thanks Janalyn and Russ). It was fun but we had to hurry back home since we had a youth conference meeting that night. By the end of the meeting when we got home we were both ready to crash. Now I’m not ready for the week to start again but I’m glad its really feeling like summer and I’m excited for all the trips and stuff coming up in the next few months.
